AI consulting, done as an adoption partner

AI consulting for Singapore SMEs.

Lynqra is an AI adoption partner for Singapore SMEs. If you are looking for AI consulting, this is how we work: a free consult on your real work, an honest assessment of where AI fits and what to do first, a fixed-scope build, training for your team, and practical guardrails. A person in your business still signs off on money, hiring and customer commitments.

What AI consulting means at Lynqra

Most owners who search for AI consulting want one of two things. Some want someone to tell them where AI fits in their business. Others already know and want someone to build it. We do both, one workflow at a time, which is why we call ourselves an adoption partner. The advice comes with a working system, not a report that sits in a drawer.

That shapes the whole engagement. We start from the admin your team already does: the quotations, invoices, approvals, documents and follow ups that depend on someone copying, chasing or checking. We look at how that work runs today, decide with you what AI should take on and what must stay with your people, then build it and teach your team to run it.

Who this is for

Owners and managers of Singapore SMEs with repetitive, document heavy, approval heavy or follow up heavy work. Most of our work is with interior design and renovation firms, where quotations, variation orders and progress claims eat the week. We also work with trading companies, M&E contractors, precision engineering firms, logistics firms, recruitment agencies and accounting firms.

It suits a business that has noticed AI could help but does not have the time or the people to work out where to start, and wants a partner who will stay through the build.

How it works

From first conversation to a system your team runs

Five parts, in this order. You know the scope and the price before any build starts.

1

Free consult

Bring one workflow that costs your team time or money. We map how it runs today and talk through what AI could take on. No cost and no commitment.

2

Assessment and priorities

We look at where your business sits today: the work, the tools, the data and the people. You get a short list of workflows ranked by value and risk, with what to do first and what to leave alone.

3

Fixed-scope build

A written quote and timeline for the first workflow. We build the custom app or AI agent it needs, and where it helps, connect it to the tools your team already uses.

4

Training and handover

Your people learn to run it, check it and fix the common problems. The new flow runs alongside the old one first, and we watch the first workflow before anything expands.

5

Governance guardrails

Practical rules for the AI your business uses: who approves what, what data goes where, and what happens when something is wrong or down.

What you get from the assessment

  • A map of the workflow as it runs today, including the exceptions.
  • What to automate, what AI should only assist with, and what stays with your people.
  • A short list of next workflows, ranked by value and risk.
  • The data, access and tools each one would need.
  • A fixed-scope quote for the first build if it is worth doing, and a plain no if it is not.

What we do not do

Being clear about scope saves everyone time:

  • No big-firm strategy decks. We do not produce multi-year transformation roadmaps or enterprise change programmes. If you need one, a larger firm is the better choice.
  • No legal audit or certification. Our governance work is an operational system and risk review. It is not a statutory audit, a certification or a legal opinion. For legal questions, speak to a lawyer.
  • No platform licence to sell. We recommend off-the-shelf software when it fits, including when that means you do not need us.
  • No unchecked systems. We do not build AI that spends money, hires people or makes customer commitments with nobody checking.

AI consulting firm, software vendor or adoption partner?

Each option suits a different need. Our guide to choosing an AI automation partner goes into more detail.

OptionWorks well whenWatch out for
Large consulting firmYou need an enterprise-wide strategy, a change programme or regulatory workFees and timelines sized for large organisations, and the build is often someone else's job
Software vendorA product already fits the way your team worksAdvice that always ends in their product
Freelancer or agencyYou already know exactly what to buildProcess mapping, guardrails and handover can be thin
Adoption partner such as LynqraYou want one workflow assessed, built and handed over, then the nextIt needs one clear first workflow and an owner in your business

Governance guardrails, in plain terms

Using AI at work raises two practical questions: what happens to the data, and who is responsible for what the system does. In Singapore, the PDPA governs the collection, use, disclosure and care of personal data, as the PDPC's overview of the PDPA explains. IMDA's Model AI Governance Framework for Agentic AI makes the point that people remain accountable for what an AI agent does.

We turn that into rules your team can follow:

  • Which AI tools staff may use, and which data may go into them.
  • Where a person must approve before the system acts.
  • What gets logged, so you can see who decided what.
  • What happens when the system is wrong, slow or down.
  • Who owns the workflow, and who covers when they are away.

Our guide to governing the AI you already use is a good place to start before the consult.

Where most SMEs start

The first workflow is usually one of these:

When this is not worth it

If you run a one-person business without recurring admin, or you are curious about AI but have no workflow in mind, a consult will not give you much yet. Our free AI readiness diagnostic takes three minutes and is a better first step. And if you want a system that runs with nobody checking it, we are the wrong partner.

FAQ

Questions about AI consulting

Is Lynqra an AI consultancy?

Not in the usual sense. Lynqra is an AI adoption partner. We give advice, but always tied to one workflow we can assess, build and hand over, rather than a report or a strategy deck.

What does AI consulting cost?

The first consult is free. If a workflow is worth building, you get a fixed-scope quote in writing before any work starts.

Will you write an AI strategy for us?

We write a short, practical plan: what to do first, what to leave alone and what must stay with your people. If you need an enterprise-wide strategy or change programme, a larger firm is a better fit, and we will say so.

Do we have to buy new software?

Usually not. We build the app your workflow needs, and where it helps, it connects to the tools you already use or need, such as Google Workspace, Slack, or your accounting software.

Can you certify that our AI use is compliant?

No. Our governance work is an operational system and risk review: who approves what, what data goes where and what happens when something fails. It is not a statutory audit, certification or legal opinion.

Do you train our team?

Yes. Training and handover are part of every build, so your people can run, check and adjust what we deliver. Wider workshops can be delivered with Ascendo Academy. Lynqra is not the accredited training provider.

Is there a grant for this?

Funding pathways such as EDGE may be assessed case by case, subject to eligibility and approval. Enterprise Singapore does not accept EDGE applications for work that has already started, so funding is checked when we assess fit, before any build. We work with advisory partners on funding and never promise a grant.

Start with one workflow

Bring the work that takes your team the longest. There is no commitment, and a person in your business stays on money, hiring and customer commitments.
